Business Development Manager
Position Purpose Statement
To drive sustainable financial growth through an effective sales strategy to boost sales and forging strong relationships with clients. The position purpose is to source, qualify and land orders to deliver sales and gross margin targets.
The role will be the first interface for the customer and therefore leads on the customer experience before working collaboratively with the internal team to ensure customer expectations and specifications are met along with ensuring gross margin for the business.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver agreed annual revenue and gross profit margin targets from existing and new projects
- Contribute to the creation and application of a sustainable sales and marketing strategy that develop the brand, identifies new markets and customers, hence gain greater market share
- Identify and generate opportunities and clients to build the sales pipeline; utilising the marketing function to drive market awareness and penetrate customer opportunities
- Create strong relationships with key customer stakeholders at all levels to establish long lasting relationships to support customer retention
- Able to price & negotiate contracts with customers and ensure commercial conformity at all stages.
- Monitor order progress, identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies and Able to coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Maintain and report on activity in the market and maintain competitor awareness feeding back to Marketing & management.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services, contributing to the development of product portfolio from market knowledge and client request.

Processing Engineer
The Processing Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all works orders for Bailey's architectural facades and cladding fabrication shop. You will help maximize productivity and efficiency by reducing waste and ensuring the accuracy of parts nesting, material sizes, drawings, models and parts/fixings lists.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Review and process all work orders to prepare timely and accurate job packets for the fabrication shop
- Maximize material usage and minimize waste via precise nesting of parts and optimal material size selection
- Validate drawings, 3D models, and parts/fixings lists received from external drawing offices against Bailey protocols
- Identify and solve any fabrication issues proactively
- Comply with all safety and quality control procedures
- Collaborate closely with production and procurement teams
Skills & Experience
- Proven Bysoft laser programming experience
- Experience with Radan nesting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
- Good problem-solving attitude
- Fabrication shop production knowledge
- Precise CAD skills, preferably in sheet metal fabrication
- 3D CAD software knowledge such as SolidWorks
- GCSE level English and Maths
- Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
