Collaboration is the cornerstone of Bailey's unwavering commitment to excellence. We aspire to simplify the process of working with all stakeholders involved in flat roof refurbishments, emphasizing transparency and open communication from the very beginning. One shining example of our dedication to these principles can be found in our partnership with Harris Girls Academy in East Dulwich, where Bailey's steadfast commitment to collaboration led to a seamless refurbishment project that earned acclaim from all involved parties.

“Barker Associates approached us regarding the Harris Girls Academy project, which had been experiencing leaks, seeking our expertise in flat roofing. Following a comprehensive site survey, including intrusive core sampling, we pinpointed moisture issues and blocked outlets. Our recommended solution involved the removal of the existing system and the installation of a high-performance bitumen system with improved drainage. Collaborating closely with Barker Associates, we developed a tailored specification and assisted in selecting a competent contractor, ultimately appointing Russell Trew. Our efficient material supply coordination enabled seamless summer holiday construction, minimizing disruption to the school.” – Rowan McIntyre, Bailey

“I had excellent support from Bailey during the initial site investigation survey, which identified the extent of the water ingress. This informed the specification of the necessary works, which were turned around quickly by the team. Whilst on site Bailey were always available to provide support with any technical queries and carried out regular inspections for quality monitoring to ensure a smooth delivery and handover. I enjoyed the personable approach and look forward to future projects together” – Adam Bromby, Barker Associates

“The roof works consisted of an asphalt strip up back to the original deck, then a 3-layer felt system with tapered insulation installed.  The roof was surveyed by Bailey prior to works commencing, and specification formulated and sent to us.  During works I found Bailey to be very professional, visiting site on a weekly basis ensuring works are to a high standard and answering any queries on site that may have cropped up.  Deliveries of materials were also very quick with a 2-day turnaround.  Bailey were happy to meet and sign off the job at the end with the client present, ensuring client’s expectations were met and future working relationships were formed.” – Lee Bhalla, Russell Trew

“There’s really nothing more enjoyable than collaborating closely in full confidence and trust with a client to develop a product and finish that isn’t out there on the shelf to meet the clients requirements. We’ve done it a number of times on different projects but one of the top ranking ones was the Fenwick store at the Lexicon, Bracknell. The brief was something like; a panel that has depth, looks like its floating, perforated to allow back lighting through, but no light allowed between the panels, which must have Sharpe edges, and no folds. We would like to have a very special super metallic anodised rough effect, hang off a composite panel by 300mm to allow for the lighting, float across the front of glazing so that you can view it from the inside as well as the outside, and also its fully curved in places. The result, well it speaks for itself, an amazing looking building and product.”
